Horence was born in Hong Kong, and began playing euphonium at the age of 8 in his primary school wind band and marching band.
“In 2021, Horence graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music, from Manchester under the tutelage of David Thornton and Steven Mead.
As an active and versatile musician, he adores giving performances. No matter solo performance in concert hall, wind band and brass band performance, live show in stadium, parade in mall or even Oktoberfest in private party etc.
Besides performing, he is passionate about education. He teaches in various schools in Hong Kong and founded The Versatile Euphonium Ensemble, which aims to bring joy and raise the awareness of euphonium to the next generation in this place.
He is now playing a Geneva GVL Cardinal Euphonium. “
