What is the Geneva Foundation?
Geneva Foundation is an independent not for profit organisation set up in response to the devastating impact the Covid 19 Pandemic
has had, and continues to have, on UK Arts at both professional and amateur levels. However, its vision is to feed a long-term strategy to evolve beyond the pandemic as an exemplar for brass musicianship.
Its primary focus today is to support UK Brass Banding in recruiting and tutoring the next generation of Brass musicians to maintain
our rich heritage of UK Brass Banding which has been historically so successful in removing socioeconomic barriers and in turn producing some of the worlds finest Brass musicians.
Immediate and Long-term operational funding has been secured by Geneva Brasswind Ltd committing 10% of its Journey to Play Plan
derived instrument sales to support Geneva Foundation initiatives during the pandemic and beyond.

Geneva Foundation Courses 2021
Given the uncertainty of when the UK will emerge from lockdown, no 2021 course dates have been released.
Courses have been designed to meet all standards of musicianship and focus on Band and Individual performance development.
Concessions and funding support will be available to Geneva Foundation Members.
The Bandroom’s online booking and registration facility will go live as soon as Covid 19 restrictions on playing are lifted.
